歷史沿革
轄地原為卓尼世襲土司楊氏領地。民國二十八年（1939年）以卓尼土司轄地改置[1][2]。設治局局所駐卓尼（今甘肅省卓尼縣駐地柳林鎮），隸屬於甘肅省第一行政督察區。1959年5月，改為卓尼自治區。
