兵曹參軍，又稱司兵參軍，有時簡稱兵曹[1]，六曹之一，掌管軍防、驛傳、儀仗等事。
漢代即有兵曹從事史，是司隸的屬官[2]。隋代各州皆設有兵曹參軍。唐代諸衛府、東宮諸率府、王府均設有兵曹參軍，在府稱「兵曹參軍」，在州稱「司兵參軍」。杜如晦即曾任秦王府兵曹參軍。
