世界哺乳動物物種

《世界哺乳動物物種：分類學和地理參考書》（英語：Mammal Species of the World: A Taxonomic and Geographic Reference）是哺乳動物學領域的工具書，提供已知哺乳動物物種的描述和書目數據。該著作於1982年首次出版，第三版於2005年底出版，由唐·埃利斯·威爾遜以及DeeAnn M. Reeder主編。^[1][2]

該著作的在線版本由巴克內爾大學負責維護。Google圖書上也提供了在線版本的部分內容。

清單委員會負責編制和更新世界哺乳動物物種。委員會在其 2015 年年度報告中指出，它與約翰霍普金斯出版社簽訂了第四版的世界哺乳動物物種的合同，該版本將由 DeeAnn M. Reeder 和 Kristofer M. Helgen 編輯。該數據庫已對作者進行編輯，從而導致更頻繁的網站更新。最新版本於 2017 年出版。 ^[3]
