網站歷史
曾任《聖何塞信使報》記者的馬特·馬歇爾（Matt Marshall）於2006年創立了VentureBeat公司。[1][2]
2009年3月，VentureBeat與IDG簽署合作協定，協同開發名為DEMO Conference的專案，意在為初創企業提供宣佈其上市的平台，以幫助它們從風險投資者和天使投資人處募集資金。[3]這一合作關係後於2012年告終。[4]
2014到2015年間，VentureBeat向包括CrossLink Capital、Walden Venture Capital、Rally Ventures、Formation 8以及Lightbank在內多家矽谷風險投資公司進行了外部資金募集。[5]
