第十一屆東南亞運動會於1981年12月6日至15日在菲律賓馬尼拉舉辦。本屆比賽共設18個大項目，共有來自7個國家和地區的2000名運動員參加本屆賽事。印尼在本屆比賽以214枚獎牌位居榜首，泰國和菲律賓分列二三位。
