詩巫公民中學是一所於1960年8月在馬來西亞砂拉越詩巫拉讓江上游發富港創立的學校。草創時期在簡陋的本板，亞達屋頂教室上課。[1]。建校發起人為江仲宵，建校委員為潘岳生、江惠民、劉禮庭、江潔軒、葉章可、葉殿榮和楊其禎。
