王文章（1951年—），男，山東壽光人，中華人民共和國政治人物。山東大學中文系畢業，中共中央黨校經濟管理專業在職研究生學歷。第十一屆全國政協委員。
生平
1969年12月參加工作。1971年8月加入中國共產黨。曾任文化部藝術局研究室副主任、戲劇處處長、藝術管理處處長，中國文化報社副社長兼副總編輯、社長兼總編輯，文化部藝術司司長，中國藝術研究院常務副院長兼黨委副書記、院長、黨委書記兼中國非物質文化遺產保護中心主任。文化部副部長、黨組成員、中國藝術研究院院長。
2008年，當選第十一屆全國政協委員[1]，代表文化藝術界，分入第二十八組。並擔任文史和學習委員會專委。[2]2008年11月任文化部副部長、黨組成員。2012年10月被免職，轉任中國藝術研究院名譽院長。
