生平
畢業於黑龍江科技大學、黑龍江大學。後留校任職。1978年至1979年，改任上海機械學院電機系教師。1979年至1983年擔任上海工業大學教師、電子計算機工程系副主任。1983年，任上海工業大學黨委副書記。1986年，任中共上海市委常委、秘書長。1992年，升任中共上海市委副書記。1998年，擔任上海市政協副主席、主席[1][2]。
