樹蜥屬

樹蜥屬（學名：Calotes）是鬣蜥科的一屬，包括24個物種。有些物種被稱為森林蜥蜴，另一些因為紅色的頭為「吸血鬼」，還有一些稱為花園蜥蜴。它們是原產於南亞、中國南部、東南亞大陸和安汶島。變色樹蜥已被引入到美國佛羅里達州，婆羅洲，蘇拉威西島，塞舌爾，毛里裘斯和阿曼。^[2]該屬物種多樣。

樹蜥屬與其它近緣屬的區分是具有均勻尺寸背鱗，缺乏臉頰和肩膀之間的皮膚褶皺，四肢比Pseudocalotes屬更強壯的。相較於Bronchocela，樹蜥屬的尾巴和四肢相對較短。在穆迪（1980）確立樹蜥屬之前，所有前面的物種都屬於同一屬。
