生平
1937年，投身抗日革命工作。1938年7月加入中國共產黨。1938年，參加新四軍，此後歷華中野戰軍、華東野戰軍和中國人民解放軍任職。1953年底，調入外交部，任外交部美澳司專員，後升任美澳司副司長。1965年6月，出任中國國際貿易促進委員會駐智利共和國商務代表。1971年6月，出任首位中華人民共和國駐智利大使[1]。1973年3月，任外交部美洲大洋洲司司長。1978年11月，初任中華人民共和國駐澳大利亞大使[2]。1980年4月，兼任中華人民共和國駐巴布亞新幾內亞大使。1983年8月，卸任駐澳大利亞大使。[3]
