印度東北部衝突，是指印度政府與印度東北部多個武裝組織長期進行的衝突。該地區由七個州組成，分別是阿薩姆邦、梅加拉亞邦、特里普拉邦、米佐拉姆邦、曼尼普爾邦、那加蘭邦和與中國有領土爭議的阿魯納恰爾邦（中國稱為藏南）^[11]。這地區與印度本土通過寬度僅有14英里（23公里）的西里古里走廊相連。某些地方的組織謀求地方自治，另一些地方組織則爭取完全獨立。

因種族和文化差異，東北部與印度主體部分矛盾重重，這些地區和中央政府以及在該地區原住民和來自印度內陸的移民之間存在着緊張關係。最近的衝突發生於2014年末，印度安全部隊在11月份襲擊了阿薩姆邦的分離武裝組織「博多民族民主陣線」，該組織隨後襲擊多個村落作為報復，令緊張局勢升級^[12]。截至2015年初，主要的軍事衝突地點涵蓋了阿薩姆邦、曼尼普爾邦、那加蘭邦、特里普拉邦。

截至2020年，除波多蘭民族民主陣線、特里普拉民族解放陣線等已經和政府達成協議解散的組織外，阿薩姆聯合解放陣線、那加蘭民族社會主義委員會、佐米革命軍和聯合民族解放陣線等組織依然活躍。

2023年5月，因印度政府準備賦予梅泰族「表列部落」地位，獲得這一地位的少數族群能得到一定的政府職位和大學錄取名額，有資格參加國家福利計劃、獲得特殊權利等，但這引起曼尼普爾邦其他以信奉基督教為主的那加族（Naga）和庫基族（Kuki）的不滿，結果造成嚴重的族群衝突，至5月7日，已經造成至少54人死亡，大約2.3萬人因衝突升級而流離失所，超過500間房屋被燒毀^[13]^[14]。
