北新州，中國古代的州。
南朝梁分郢州置北新州，後來分北新州設土州、富州、洄州、泉州、豪州。北新州治長壽（今湖北省鍾祥市），下轄竟陵郡、齊興郡（治上蔡，今湖北省鍾祥市北）。竟陵郡下轄霄城（治所，今湖北省京山市東南）、新市、雲杜。梁朝末年，北齊得到了北新州，慕容儼鎮守，南梁將領侯瑱圍攻，一共二百天，不下。二國通好，北新州再歸南梁。梁陳之際，被王琳所據。559年，王琳失敗，北新州被北周佔領，併入土州。
