《化石》，創刊於1973年，是一種中國科學院古脊椎動物與古人類研究所主辦、中國科學院主管的科普雜誌。《化石》雜誌以介紹化石為核心，向公眾介紹地質學、古生物學、進化生物學、古人類學、史前考古學以及古生態、古環境相關的科學知識。刊名由郭沫若題寫。[1]
