索甲仁波切(藏語:བསོད་རྒྱལ་,威利轉寫:Bsod-rgyal,1947年—2019年8月28日[1]),出生於康區甘孜縣,佛教人物、作家,屬於藏傳佛教寧瑪派佐欽傳承之上師。曾旅居西方,2017年開始接受結腸癌治療,2019年因肺栓塞圓寂於泰國[2]。

其暢銷名著《西藏生死書》,此書被翻譯成30種文字、在56國發行,迴響頗大,內容為以六中有解釋佛教的輪迴觀。其創立遍布四十餘國之本覺會,為西方宣傳藏傳佛教重要之組織。
主要師承二世宗薩欽哲確吉羅卓,在康區宗薩寺學習,被認證為被認為是十三世達賴的老師拖頓索甲伏藏師之轉世。1971年獲得資助以訪問學人的身分,前往劍橋大學三一學院學習宗教比較[3]。旅居西方時,親炙數位耆老,並為之翻譯法教:二世敦珠仁波切、頂果欽哲仁波切和紐修堪仁波切[4] 。於1973安排十四世達賴喇嘛拜訪羅馬天主教教宗保祿六世[5]。
索甲仁波切生前也傳出多起性侵事件,但從未被定罪[6]。1994年在舊金山遭女學員控告性侵,求償1000萬美元,最後庭外和解[7][8]。多起性侵事件使以往與他過從甚密的十四世達賴也出面批判,指他「蒙羞」[9]。
