脊椎側彎只需要定期回診觀察，治療方式包括支架及手術，支架需符合病患的體型，而且需每天使用，直到側彎程度不再增加為止，有關整背（英语：Spinal adjustment）、膳食補充品及運動是否可以使脊椎側彎不繼續惡化，目前還沒有足夠的證據可以評斷，不過因為運動有其他健康上的好處，仍會建議脊椎側彎的病患運動。
