該型調光玻璃做為天窗。由於技術專利高度集中於一家公司，而且技術開發難度較高，因此該型調光玻璃目前的價格仍然較高。自洁玻璃（英语：Self-cleaning glass）主要應用在建築物和汽車上。玻璃外層會塗上約50納米厚的鈦氧化物，在紫外光下會催化玻璃上的有機物分解。這可以把分解的有機物沖走且不留水跡，達到自潔效果。
