Amazon S3，全名為亞馬遜簡易儲存服務（Amazon Simple Storage Service），是亞馬遜公司利用其亞馬遜網路服務系統所提供的網路線上儲存服務。經由Web服務界面，包括REST、SOAP與BitTorrent，用戶能夠輕易把檔案儲存到網路伺服器上。在2006年3月開始，亞馬遜公司在美國推出這項服務，2007年11月擴展到歐洲地區。2016年9月，該服務中國區正式商用，與光環新網合作運營^[1]。

亞馬遜公司為這項服務收取的費用，是每月每gigabyte需要0.095元美金，如果需要額外的網路頻寬與品質，則要另外收費。根據服務級別協議（SLA），S3保證在每月99.9%的時間內可用^[2]，即每月停機時間不多於43分鐘^[3]。

美國時間2017年2月28日，由於員工在調試系統時輸入的命令有誤^[4]，S3出現數小時的服務中斷，包括Airbnb、Pinterest、Quora在內的大量知名網站受到影響^[5]。
