1948年阿什哈巴德地震是1948年10月6日01:12發生在蘇聯土庫曼首府阿什哈巴德西南25km的Gara-Gaudan（英語：Gara-Gaudan）村的7.3級地震，在阿什哈巴德及其附近造成嚴重破壞。當時蘇聯並沒詳細報道這一地震。^[3]
