生平
1976年，進入中華人民共和國外交部工作，先後在駐羅馬尼亞大使館、外交部蘇聯東歐司、外交部歐亞司任職。1996年，任常駐聯合國代表團參贊。1998年，任外交部政策研究室副主任。2002年3月，出任中華人民共和國駐立陶宛大使。2005年，任外交部外事管理司司長。2010年10月，出任中華人民共和國駐澳大利亞大使。2013年10月，出任中華人民共和國駐瑞典大使。[1]2017年8月，任滿退休。2018年，任中國公共外交協會副會長。[2]
家庭
妻子白曉梅，也是一位職業外交官。
