歷史
雜誌於1975年在倫敦成立，之前曾在英國報紙上發表過不少葡萄酒專欄[4]。 截至2011年，它已在91個國家/地區出版，其中包括2005年最晚加入的中國[4]。其專欄作家和定期撰稿人包括多位葡萄酒大師[4]。
1999年，雜誌推出其網站Decanter.com。醇鑒國際葡萄酒大獎賽（Decanter World Wine Awards）於2004年由其建立。
