翁祖澤（1941年1月—），上海人，畢業於哈爾濱工業大學電機系，九三學社社員，曾任湖南大學校長。[1][2]翁祖澤是中國電工學會理事、中國電機工程學會理事。前湖南省電工技術學會理事長，湖南省電機工程學會副理事長，九三學社湖南省委副主委，湖南省六屆、七屆政協常委、省政協文教衛體委副主任，湖南省科協常委。
生平
1941年，翁祖澤出生於上海市。
1964年，翁祖澤從哈爾濱工業大學電機系畢業。
翁祖澤在湖南大學教書，1978年，翁祖澤成為湖南大學的一名講師。
1980年1月，翁祖澤以訪問學者身份到加拿大不列顛哥倫比亞大學攻讀電力系統動態分析，1982年翁祖澤回國任教。
1983年到1984年，翁祖澤擔任湖南大學教研室主任及系副主任。1984年9月，翁祖澤升職為湖南大學校長助理，1985年12月，翁祖澤晉升為湖南大學的副教授、副校長。1988年6月，翁祖澤晉升為教授。1987年12月，翁祖澤出任湖南大學校長，1993年7月任期滿。
1989年12月，翁祖澤加入九三學社。
