生平
1974年11月，參加工作，1982年1月，加入中國共產黨，1988年，從西安交通大學社科系研究生畢業，獲得管理學博士。2007年4月，任廣東省科技廳廳長、黨組書記。2014年12月，深圳市人民檢察院以涉嫌受賄罪，對其提起公訴[1]。2014年1月12日，中共廣東省委決定給予其開除黨籍處分[2]。2015年2月6日，其罪案公開宣判，因收受廣州首誠太和有限公司等股權賄賂[3]，犯受賄罪，判處無期徒刑，剝奪政治權利終身，並處沒收個人全部財產[4]。現羈押於清遠監獄[5]。
