生平
自2011年11月16日，里卡爾迪出任馬里奧·蒙蒂內閣的國際合作部不管部長[1]。
1999年，他獲得了聯合國教科文組織費利克斯·烏弗埃-博瓦尼和平獎。[2]他還任教於羅馬大學和巴里大學。
里卡爾迪也是希拉克基金會榮譽委員會委員[3]，基金會由法國前總統雅克·希拉克創立於2008年，旨在促進世界和平。自2013年1月4日到2013年5月16日里卡爾迪擔任[4]中間派政黨公民選擇主席[5]。
