姚曉天，主要從事光纖偏振傳感技術等方面的研究，美國光學學會會士，中國教育部第六批「長江學者」特聘教授，曾參與「973」等多個重點項目，獲得數10項發明專利。[1]
生平
1992年獲得南加州大學光電子學博士學位。1990至2000年任加州理工學院NASA噴氣動力實驗室（JPL）研究員。[2]
