大衛·葉茨（英語：David Yates，1963年10月8日—）是一位英國導演和製片人，曾執導一些故事片，短片和製作電視節目。

他最為主流所知的導演作品是哈利·波特電影系列的後四部：《哈利·波特與鳳凰社》，《哈利·波特與「混血王子」》，《哈利·波特與死亡聖器（上）》和《哈利·波特與死亡聖器（下）》 （2007–2011）。[3][4]他這一系列的工作使他獲得在商業和導演榮譽上的成功。
葉茨職業生涯早期曾執導各種短片，並成為一個多產的電視導演。曾經獲得大不列顛導演協會傑出導演成就獎和黃金時段艾美獎。[3][5]
早期生活
1963年大衛·葉茨出生於英格蘭蘭開夏郡。父母在小時候去世。[8]他在雨山長大，在看了斯蒂芬·斯皮爾伯格1975年的電影《大白鯊》後他決定投身電影創作。[2]在聖海倫斯學院完成社會學，政治學和文學的課程後他來到艾塞克斯大學。[9][10][11]在那裡，他成立了影視製作協會。[12]1987年他畢業獲得學士學位。[13]
個人生活
葉茨有一個姐姐和一個弟弟，他們從小一起長大，關係很密切。[8]葉茨的妻子是Yvonne Walcott，夫婦倆還沒有孩子。[14]
