生平
早年畢業於山西大學法律系。1989年，升任朔州市紀委副書記。1997年，任中共忻州地委委員；1999年，任忻州地委副書記。2001年，任中共長治市委副書記。2005年，任中共晉城市委副書記、晉城市長。2008年，任中共臨汾市委書記，同年因襄汾尾礦庫潰壩事故被撤職[1]。
2018年，不再擔任山西省委統戰部副部長，出任山西省民營企業資產置換協會黨委書記[2]。
