坎佩切灣

坎佩切灣（西班牙語：Bahía de Campeche）是墨西哥灣南部的一個海灣，連接墨西哥坎佩切州、塔巴斯科州和韋拉克魯斯州。坎佩切灣由弗朗西斯科·埃爾南德斯·德科爾多瓦（Francisco Hernández de Córdoba）和安東尼奧·德阿拉米諾斯（Antonio de Alaminos）在1517年的一次探險中命名。

石油資源

位於坎佩切灣由五個油田組成的坎塔雷爾油田是全球產量第二大的油田，占墨西哥全國石油產量的三分之二。1979年6月3日，灣內一個油井發生爆炸，釀成史上最嚴重的漏油意外。

其他

每年6月和7月，坎佩切灣被視為大西洋颶風其中一個熱門發源地。^[1] 坎佩切灣也是美洲候鳥遷移路徑的東面邊界。^[2]
