Telltale Tool是訴說遊戲公司以Lua腳本語言自主開發的遊戲引擎。[1]它採用可移植設計，使得訴說遊戲能夠同時在多個平台發布和更新遊戲。[2]
歷史
訴說遊戲在2004年成立時就已製作出初版引擎了，[3]引擎最初名為「訴說引擎及工具箱」。[4]為測試引擎和分配模型，並保障第一款冒險遊戲《骨頭：走出骨頭鄉》無重大程式錯誤，他們先做了一款休閒撲克遊戲《Telltale德州撲克》。[5]
訴說遊戲開發每款作品都使用了Telltale Tool，該引擎從最初版本起即不斷改善，比如新系統的兼容性和提升圖形處理能力。[3][6]迄今使用Telltale Tool開發的第三方的遊戲只有《Hector: Badge of Carnage》一部，該遊戲由Straandlooper開發，並由訴說遊戲發布。[7]
