文昌魚目

文昌魚目（學名：Amphixiformes），亦作昌魚目或蛞蝓魚目，是頭索動物亞門頭索綱之下唯一的一個目，包括有多個科。遍布於溫帶淺海海域^[3]及熱帶的沙海床。現存有物種約22個種。

本目物種佛羅里達文昌魚（B. floridae）的基因圖譜已全被排序^[4]。

概述

文昌魚與魚類具有許多共同特徵，如脊索、神經索、鰓裂、肛門後尾部、肝門脈系統、內柱(與甲狀腺同源)等，但不具有魚類之脊椎骨、軟骨或其他骨骼構造，亦無明顯之頭部，所以不是魚類，文昌魚分類上屬於脊索動物門之頭索動物亞門，魚類則屬於脊椎動物亞門。

分類

本目的分類，不同的作者有不同的見解^[5]。 文昌魚目之下原來只有鰓口科一個科，包括文昌魚屬及偏文昌魚屬兩個屬^[6]。但由於文昌魚屬及偏文昌魚屬兩者在解剖結構上顯着不同，所以現時被劃分成為兩個不同的科，而偏文昌魚屬又再細分為兩個屬。現時最常見的分類如下：
