左旗五，又名天箭座γ，是天箭座最亮的恆星[1][2]，視星等為3.47，是一顆紅巨星，位於銀經57.97°，銀緯-5.21°，其J2000.0坐標為赤經19h 58m 45.4s，赤緯+19° 29′ 32″。 相對太陽，左旗五正以42.9km/s的速度繞銀河系中心運動，其軌道距銀河系中心在20300光年至25900光年之間。由於自行，1400萬年後，它與太陽的距離將縮小至158光年，視星等將增至2.44。
