山西大同大學是中華人民共和國山西省大同市的一所全日制公辦大學，前身主要是成立於1958年的雁北師範學院，新大同大學籌建於2002年7月，2006年3月經教育部批准成立。是由原雁北師範學院、大同醫學專科學校、大同職業技術學院、山西工業職業技術學院合併成立的綜合性大學。設有山西大同大學大同師範分校、山西大同大學朔州師範分校、山西大同大學渾源師範分校三所五年制師範分校。
學校目前在2個校區設有15個學院。
