《卜居》是一部短篇作品，收錄於《楚辭》（一稱《南歌》）。雖然傳統上認為是屈原所作，但他是作者的可能性很小。(Hawks 2011 [1985]: 203)《卜居》更是對屈原一生中一個事件的傳記或偽傳記，主要是散文，但有一段被認為是屈原的名言的簡短的附帶詩句。該軼事講述了屈原如何拜訪一位大占卜師以解決他的一些道德困惑，方法是通過塑形術或鑄造蓍草莖。然而，最後占卜師以在這種情況下占卜無濟於事為由為自己辯解。
