維管柱又稱中柱，是維管植物的根或莖的中軸部分（根或莖中央的圓柱）[1]。維管柱由一層或幾層中柱鞘和維管組織組成[3][4]。維管柱這一概念由法國植物學家菲利普·范蒂蓋姆等人於19世紀末提出。
