小头美鱥（学名：Nocomis leptocephalus）为辐鳍鱼纲鲤形目雅罗鱼科的其中一种，分布于北美洲美国中东部河川，本鱼体呈圆柱状，口大，眼小，雄鱼在繁殖期时头部变蓝色，体色银灰色，背部颜色较深，尾鳍上的斑点以及眼睛、鳍和虹膜呈红色，体长可达26公分，栖息在砾石底质水质清澈的小溪流或水潭[2]，以植物和昆虫为食，繁殖期在春季，雄鱼会以砾石筑巢。
