NBA LIVE 16获得IGN6.0分的评价，IGN评论者Mike Mitchell表示新模式的加入使得NBA LIVE 16相对于前作NBA LIVE 15来说有了一丝进步，但核心的操作问题和游戏体验依旧没有改善，简单来说，如果篮球游戏的基础内容没有做好，那么再多的游戏模式也是徒劳，就算它有华丽的画面也无济于事，NBA Live系列还有很长的路要走。[1][2]
