詹姆士·奥格尔索普

詹姆士·爱德华·奥格尔索普（英语：James Edward Oglethorpe，1696年12月22日—1785年6月30日），英国陆军上将^[1]、英国国会议员、慈善家，同时也是殖民地乔治亚省创始人。作为社会改革者，他希望在新世界重新安置仍然可以贡献的英国穷人，最初著重于负债人监狱的设置^[2]。
