淡水路是中华人民共和国上海市黄浦区一条南北走向道路。北起金陵西路，南至建国东路，全长1683米。路名来自于台湾淡水。道路始建于清朝光绪二十八年（1902年），最初名为衡山路。光绪三十二年（1906年）路名更名为萨坡赛路（Rue Chapsal），名称来自于上海法租界公董局的总董，之后又更名为淡水路。中华民国32年（1943年）更名为南通路。中华民国35年（1946年）为纪念沪军都督陈其美而以陈其美的字英士更名为英士路。1950年又恢复为淡水路[1]。
