约翰·霍克斯（英语：John Hawkes），原名约翰·马文·佩金斯（John Marvin Perkins，1959年9月11日—）是美国电影和电视演员，其最具知名度的演出为于2010年上映的独立制片电影《冬天的骨头》，这一角色为他赢得了第83届奥斯卡金像奖提名。
早年生活和教育
霍克斯于1959年9月11日出生于美国明尼苏达州道格拉斯县的县治亚历山大[1]，他的父亲彼得·约翰·“皮特”·佩金斯是一位农民，母亲则是帕翠茜娅·简妮，家中养有猪和牛，并种植小麦和玉米[2][3][4]。霍克斯形容自己在是“中西部的一个小型牧区城市社区”长大的[5]。在城里的杰弗逊高中（Jefferson High School）毕业后[2]，他来到德克萨斯州的奥斯汀，并加入了一个乐队[4]，他也是另外一个名叫“King Straggler”音乐小组的成员[4]。
职业生涯
约翰·霍克斯出演过的第一部电影是1985年的《未来杀手》（future-kill），使用的名字叫约翰·佩金斯[6]，不过由于发现有另一位演员也叫这个名字，他从此将自己的艺名改为了约翰·霍克斯[7]。
霍克斯在电视剧《24》的第一季中扮演了一个出演两集的小角色，然后在HBO的首季《体育老师笑传》中出演达斯汀·保尔斯（Dustin Powers）一角，还出演了美国广播公司的电视剧《迷失》。
接下来他出演的电影还包括《爱情我你他》、《完美风暴》、《美国黑帮》、《割腕者的天堂》、《双面玛莎》和《林肯传》[8]。
