洛伊丝·莫玛丝特·布约德（Lois McMaster Bujold，1949年11月2日—），又译洛伊斯·比约德，美国幻设小说（speculative fiction）[1]作家。布约德曾多次获得星云奖及雨果奖。
生平
布约德本名为Lois Joy McMaster，于1949年在俄亥俄州哥伦布出生，父亲为著名工程学教授Robert Charles McMaster[3][4]。她有一名哥哥。
布约德说她对科幻的兴趣来自她亦喜欢科幻的父亲，而她父亲亦影响到她笔下不同的小说，包括科西根系列。她表示她父亲可算是一名伟人，而历史中时常说当伟人的儿子有多难，但总不会谈到当伟人的女儿也很难，而她对父亲的感觉亦影响到她笔下角色们对他们父亲的反应。
布约德中学于1967年从Upper Arlington High School毕业，跟著1968年至1972年期间入读俄亥俄州立大学。她大学未毕业已出来工作，在俄亥俄州立大学医院里当药房技术员，最后因组织家庭而辞职。
布约德自小已写下不少故事，但专心写作则是1980年代初开始。她写下的第一本为Shards of Honor，于1983年完成，第二本《战争学徒》是1984年完成，最后Ethan of Athos于1985年完成。她开始把手稿寄给不同出版社，但只得《战争学徒》获Baen Books接纳。此出版社还和布约德签合同，要她写多几本，而她亦继续写以科西根当主角的小说。
当布约德写到有关于工程学的内容时，通常会谘询她当工程师的哥哥。
布约德于1971年与John Fredric Bujold结婚，但于1990年代早期离异。她有一子一女：女儿Anne于1979年出生，儿子Paul于1981年出生。1980年至1995年，一家人住在俄亥俄州马里昂；1995年搬到明尼苏达州明尼阿波利斯。布约德在儿女成年搬出后，现居于明尼苏达州巫药湖。
