打狗座为1909年由高松丰次郎在高雄兴建的一座戏院，位于今日鼓山一路与鼓山一路53巷口，是高雄地区第一间戏院。戏院的经营以戏剧活动为主，亦有放映活动写真，内部空间可容纳五百馀名观众。[1]大正10年（1921）因建物过于老旧而废除。[2]
