律政巨人

《律政巨人》（英语：Goliath）是美国Amazon Studios专为网路电视所制播的一部法庭剧集。此剧从2015年12月1日开拍第1季的8集^[1] ，并于2016年10月13日在Amazon Video上推出^[2][3] 。2017年2月15日Amazon宣布将筹拍第2季^[4]。

剧情简介

• Billy Bob Thornton 饰演Billy McBride，一位与Donald Cooperman共同创立了Cooperman McBride法律事务所并将其经营的非常成功，但现在却一贫如洗的律师。Billy有才华且有个人魅力，但在他运用法律专业为一位谋杀嫌疑犯辩护并使其脱身，但该名嫌疑犯却杀害了全家人后，他被逐出事务所并开始酗酒，栖身在 Santa Monica Pier.^[5]（地名）的小旅馆里。
• William Hurt 饰演Donald Cooperman，Billy的合伙人，共同创立了Cooperman McBride事务所。他的脸部曾遭火灼留下疤痕，因此鲜少露面，甚至不常离开办公室，事务所的绝大部分员工都未曾亲眼见过他，他则透过监视器来监控会议及开庭情形。他甚至在员工不知情下在整间事务所装置窃听器，以便介入事务所内发生的每件事情。他对Billy怀有极深的敌意^[6]。
