印度国民军(Indian National Army,另译印度国军)为自由印度临时政府于1942年8月建立的军事组织,指挥官为钱德拉·鲍斯。这支军队开始时主要由日军俘获的英属印度军队战俘组成,后来也有许多日本控制的马来亚和缅甸的印度人自愿加入该组织。该组织的目标是要从英国手中解放印度,所以在“二战”日军占领缅甸期间,曾协助日军在英帕尔战役(Battle of Imphal)中对不列颠印度军队的作战,也有一些人参加了德国党卫军外国志愿军。

钱德拉·鲍斯的军队以战俘为主,其中也有女性组成特遣队,该特遣队以詹西王后为名,1945年大战末期英国人从印度国民军当中拔擢三位军官,他们分别是印度教徒、穆斯林和锡克教徒,希望借此压制广泛示威行动所引发的不满。[1]
