马克士威 (单位)

麦克斯韦（Maxwell，缩写Mx，台湾作马克士威），厘米-克-秒制的磁通量单位。

此名称用以纪念苏格兰物理学家詹姆斯·克拉克·马克士威。^[1]

起源

1900年，马克士威在巴黎举办的International Electrical Congress（此非IEC）被建议作为CGS制中磁通量之单位。^[2]

1930年，International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC)在挪威首都奥斯陆举行，认可马克士威作为磁通量单位。^[2]

定义

1马克士威 = 1高斯 × 公分² = 10⁻⁸ 韦伯

其中，马克士威(Mx)并不属于国际单位制，而韦伯(Wb)属于国际单位制。^[3][4]
