苗栗市立图书馆为苗栗市公所成立的公共图书馆，总馆位于苗栗市大同路82号，和苗栗县苗栗市大同国民小学邻居。另设有一所北苗图书室分馆，位于苗栗市北苗地区。苗栗客运苗栗站等皆在本馆附近，交通便利。
历史
- 1990年10月15日动工兴建。
- 1991年7月20日竣工。
- 1992年2月29日正式开馆启用。
