肾上腺皮促素抗性症候群是由数种罕见病征所组成的症候群，有时肾上腺皮促素抗性成为唯一单独存在的表征。肾上腺皮促素抗性症候群其中包括家族性糖皮素缺乏症与Triple A症候群。
家族性糖皮素缺乏症患者于ACTH接受器的位置有数个误意突变，但并非所有患者皆会发生此突变。Triple A症候群典型特征为肾上腺缺失，贲门弛缓不能与泪液减少三种组合，并伴随一些较为多变的神经学症状。
其发生率若为1/4。
遗传方面，其遗传方式为一体染色体隐性遗传。
