突出部（英语：Salient）是一种战场上的特征，通常是突入敌方领土后，多面被敌人包围，使攻势进入敌军后方区域[1]。而突出部与守方前线接壤处称为凹入部（reentrant）。一个深入的突出部底端容易遭到“挤压”，使突出部形成一个孤立地带，补给线将因此遭到截断。
