扁脸耀鲶，为辐鳍鱼纲鲶形目塘虱鱼科的其中一种，分布于非洲三比西河及奥塔万戈河流域，栖息在急流区，体长可达29.5公分，属肉食性，以其他鱼类为食，可做为食用鱼及游钓鱼。
