奥马尔·沙里夫

奥马·沙里夫（英语：Omar Sharif，阿拉伯语：عمر الشريف‎，1932年4月10日—2015年7月10日），又译作奥马·莎李夫，本名米歇尔·德米特里·薛胡布（Michel Demitri Chalhoub），埃及演员。其姓氏“沙里夫”（Sharif）在阿拉伯语里有著“名贵”的意思。代表作品包含《阿拉伯的劳伦斯》（1962）、《齐瓦哥医生》（1966），以及《妙女郎（英语：Funny Girl (film)）》（1968）。其演艺成就曾为其博得奥斯卡金像奖提名，并让他摘下三座金球奖与一座凯撒电影奖。

早期生活

奥马·沙里夫，1932年4月10日^[1]生于埃及亚历山大港^[2]，本名米歇尔·德米崔·薛胡布（Michel Demetri Chalhoub）^[3]，是具有巴勒斯坦、叙利亚与黎巴嫩血统的默基特希腊礼天主教徒家庭成员^[4]。其父约瑟夫·薛胡布（Joseph Chalhoub）生于黎巴嫩，家族靠经营进口木材起家，20世纪初期举家搬迁到埃及，且就是奥马出生长大的地方。其母克莱儿·莎达（Claire Saada）则是叙利亚与黎巴嫩后裔^[5]。沙里夫青年时期，曾就读于维多利亚学院（英语：Victoria College, Alexandria），并展现了语言长才；毕业于开罗大学，并拥有数学与物理学学位^[5]。1955年，沙里夫改宗伊斯兰教^[6]，以便娶埃及女演员法婷·哈马玛（Faten Hamama）为妻^[7]。

在开罗大学获得数学与物理学学位之后^[8]，他为父亲经营的木材行业短暂工作过，随后便进入位在伦敦的皇家戏剧艺术学院就读表演相关科系^[8]。

演员生涯

因演出《齐瓦哥医生》(Doctor Zhivago)闻名全球。1962年演出《阿拉伯的劳伦斯》(Lawrence of Arabia)，获得金球奖最佳男配角。1966年演出《齐瓦哥医生》，获金球奖最佳男主角。2003年演出《陪我走到世界尽头》，则让莎李夫获得凯撒电影奖最佳男主角奖。

合约桥牌生涯

沙里夫曾名列世界前50大合约桥牌玩家，并曾经在伊朗国王面前打过牌^[9]。沙里夫也曾与查尔斯·葛伦（英语：Charles Goren）共同为《芝加哥论坛报》写过好几年的桥牌专栏^[10]，但大多数的写作之后都转手给谭纳·赫希（Tannah Hirsch）。他也是好几本桥牌相关书籍的作者与共同作者，甚至授权其名给一个桥牌电视游戏；更是被选为世界桥牌协会会长，最一开始只在1992年发行了MS-DOS与Amiga版本，《奥马·沙里夫打桥牌》（Omar Sharif in Bridge）至今也仍在Windows与行动平台版本贩售^[11]。《电脑游戏世界》杂志1992年时曾评论这个游戏“好上手、难挑战、设计佳”（easy to get into, challenging to play and well-designed）^[12]，并将它列名为当年度最棒的策略游戏^[13]。但1993年，该杂志指出“这不是一个玩桥牌的好游戏”，因其文档不足、玩家无法适应而遭受批评。该杂志甚至推荐了另外两款游戏^[14] 。

沙里夫是法国赌场的常客^[15]。

私人生活

疾病与死亡

2015年5月，报载沙里夫饱受阿兹海默病所苦，据其子转述，沙里夫已经开始认不清楚其演艺生涯的几部代表作品。其子塔里克·沙里夫是沙里夫与前妻法婷·哈马玛的独子，他表示自己父亲总把这些电影的名字搞混，甚至忘记《齐瓦哥医生》、《阿拉伯的劳伦斯》的拍摄地点^[16]。

2015年7月10日，因心脏病发，病逝于开罗一家医院，享寿83岁^[17][18]。
