南北分歧 (英格兰)

在英格兰，南北分歧是指南英格兰和北英格兰之间的文化经济分歧。而英格兰中部的地位则经常有争议。在政治上，南英格兰，特别是东南英格兰（大伦敦地区除外）和东盎格利亚更偏向中右派，并多支持保守党。而北英格兰则多支持工党。一期经济学人杂志指出南北英格兰在政治经济上的差距已使得其几乎相当于分裂的国家^[4]。
