甲鱼盔甲的一部分，属于鳖科的一个物种Axestemys splendida（英语：Axestemys splendida）的内腹甲（英语：entoplastron）。2016年，德·帕尔玛等人认识到，他们在论文中所提及的叉骨实际上不属于达科他盗龙，并将它排除在其种型群之外。
